Astor Flak Armor
Plate armor of a foreign type
A type of plate armor worn by soldiers of the 8th Breslin Infantry. Breslin armor is universally mottled shades of green with a matte finish, sometimes with Ecclesiarchical symbols such as the Aquila, also in green. The armor appears to be rigid, but the individual plates are not shaped to the body as well as Novan plate, particularly around the arms and legs. The armor does not appear to feature true gauntlets or sabatons, the hands and feet instead being protected by plates attached to simple gloves and boots. The helm is of an open-faced type. The gaps between plates do not appear to be reinforced with mail or other flexible armor.
Whether this armor is magical or not is unknown; its protective qualities have never been observed in action.
